End of a decade...

I find myself in this new year feeling uneasy yet content. I found trouble when I look into the recent "noughties" and sifting for what this past decade has brought to our world? Can anyone provide me with a convincing answer?
Also why do so many people write off the nineties as meaningless? If the whole of the 20th century was attempting to prove the existence of matter that would make the 90's responsible for all the anti-matter and alternative thinking. In general it was a decade of more positive developement than destruction.
Argue with me if you must but there is a lack of depth in contempory years.

Liminal Spaces

As we move forward into the future, becoming and remaining anonymous becomes a difficult task. It appears we are all heading to become drones in one big wide liminal space known as Earth. Think airports/ international areas. Whether we are heading for one big globalised nation/ whether we are already there/ or if that will even happen is really up to opinion & better yet the future.
When or if this 'future' becomes our present, life goes on regardless & humanity remains human. It is so easy to become cynical, empty and devoid of virtue; to easy to write off the very emotions that inspire us as a waste

Well it is quite a narcissist website so when in Rome... but being true to my nature i will change the ID ever so often just in case i get bored or another dominant personality takes a 2/3 majority of my head space.
But after reading your deliciously pretentious own Journal entry my eco-system/cityscape mind said looks whos calling the emo black
like Marie Antoinette addressing the dirty french bourgeois. 
At least when the peasants want your head you can hide in my Anarchic city/ eco-system to escape an animated fate.

and came all the oppurtunities you had to make some artful emo remarks on me- the emo black, you had to do it on the one garishly hippy motif screaming the pinks and blues and glitters of sweet rebirth and dreamy refurbishment. 'rehab' is a metaphor, lady. the kind where people take off all their clothes and go and watch the sun shine together after a good lifetimes work. xD nothing pretentious about a little happiness and a sigh.
